You’re Taking Medicine On An Empty Stomach
Most medicines say, “To be taken with food” on the bottle, and there’s a reason for that. Your body needs to have something in it that’ll help you absorb the pill (aka food). If you typically take pills on an empty stomach, it’s no wonder you experience stomach pain.
Solution: Make sure you’re eating food with your medicine! Even if it’s just a multivitamin, you need to eat first. A good deal of pills contains iron, copper, and other acidic compounds that can actually make your stomach acidic which causes pain and bloating. Make sure you’re eating before you take medicine and always take with water to help you better digest.
